Driven steel pipe piles are the fastest and most cost-effective piling method. S-Driven® piles are installed into the ground using a friction splice, eliminating the need for otherwise costly welding and welding inspections. The pile is an efficient solution for both new foundations and foundation strengthening applications.

Steel pipe piles must be designed to withstand the applied loads. The pile itself must have sufficient structural capacity to prevent crushing or buckling (structural bearing capacity), while the bedrock must also be capable of carrying the loads transferred by the driven pile (geotechnical bearing capacity).
